We seeking a commercial construction Superintendent with exposure to mid/high-rise building that are 9 or more stories, concrete builds, zero lot lines, tower cranes, and underground utilities. The Superintendent's main duty is to oversee, in collaboration with the Project Manager, the successful culmination of designated projects from the ground up. The Superintendent assumes leadership regarding job site safety, quality control, and project timetable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively and cooperatively oversees the field and project team.
• Establishes and nurtures positive and efficient relationships with clients, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, neighboring community, and governmental bodies.
• Handles project setup, site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
• Scrutinizes all project documents for feasibility and content, including shop drawings.
• Collaborates with building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and relevant agencies.
• Ensures the delivery of commercial objectives by setting clear performance expectations for subcontractors and addressing any performance concerns promptly.
• Develops project sequencing logic, identifies and manages associated temporary works.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols for all aspects of the site, including pre-planning, construction activity monitoring, and corrective action implementation for non-compliant work, actively driving the company’s safety initiatives with trades/subcontractors.
• Conducts or participates in project staff meetings.
• Utilizes PM and scheduling software proficiently.
• Remains updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending educational events, reviewing publications, establishing professional networks, and engaging in professional societies, etc.
• Successfully completes relevant corporate training as per the role and/or department.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the commercial construction sector.
• Previous experience with large scale commercial construction projects.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related construction software.
• Working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
• OSHA 10 / OSHA 30 Safety Certification.

Education:

• Preferably a four (4) year degree in Construction Management or a related field.

$140k-$160k
