Job Description

Job Description

I am partnering with a global construction company looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to take ownership of large-scale, complex projects from start to finish. In this leadership role, you’ll provide strategic direction, manage executive-level client relationships, and oversee a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and support staff.

The Senior PM will play a key role in ensuring project success while also driving business development, financial performance, and team growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major projects and programs, building and maintaining strong client partnerships.
  • Lead multiple, complex projects, delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide strategic oversight through all phases:
  • Preconstruction: lead team selection, contracts, budgeting, cost strategies, schedules, and permitting.
  • Construction: manage contractors, procurement, risk, quality, safety, and execution.
  • Closeout: oversee project closeout, ensuring full compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Drive project financials, including forecasting, reporting, and profitability.
  • Mentor and guide Project Managers, APMs, and support staff, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Partner with leadership on business development, engaging clients, supporting proposals, and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and identify ways to create added value for clients.
  • Report project performance insights directly to the Office Manager and leadership team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree or certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED preferred).
  • 10+ years’ experience managing diverse building types and large-scale construction projects across all phases.
  • Proven track record leading multi-million-dollar projects and managing multiple teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to inspire confidence across stakeholders.
  • Business-savvy with expertise in financial management, contracts, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking leader passionate about delivering exceptional results and building high-performing teams.
