Job Title: Group Home Manager (Registered Nurse) Disabled Adult Group Home

Position Summary:

The Group Home Manager (RN) is responsible for the overall management of a residential facility for adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This role combines clinical nursing expertise with administrative leadership to ensure residents receive high-quality care in a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight, including health assessments, medication administration, and coordination of medical care for residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing both medical and psychosocial needs.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate direct care staff, ensuring compliance with caregiving and medical protocols.
  • Oversee daily operations, manage staff schedules, and ensure a safe, person-centered environment.
  • Maintain accurate medical and administrative records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure the facility meets all health, safety, and licensing requirements, including those specific to nursing practice.
  • Manage the facilitys budget, purchasing, and medical supply inventory.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with residents families, healthcare providers, and community agencies.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare or residential setting (experience with adults with disabilities preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and knowledge of healthcare regulations.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Compassionate, dedicated, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for adults with disabilities.
