Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician I to join our team and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role performs daily quality tests, documents results, and supports food safety programs including SQF, HACCP, SOPs, and SSOPs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and works well independently while supporting a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product and environmental testing to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
• Document and communicate test results accurately, including Certificates of Analysis.
• Maintain and update training and QA documentation programs.
• Support audits and corrective actions for quality and food safety programs.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to standardize procedures.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform other QA-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree/certification in a related field or 12 months of food safety experience.

Preferred:

• Experience in food manufacturing/processing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Allergen Control, and Sanitation programs.
• 3-5 years of experience in food quality or safety roles.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
