Overview PLC Programmer in Plymouth, MN. You will help the Operations Team by creating and completing programming for Programmable Logic Controllers and developing software applications for our products to control and monitor water resources. Location: Plymouth, MN. On-site with some hybrid flexibility as you learn the job and our products. What you will do Every day, your primary role will be to develop PLC code for automated control systems. Projects range from new panels and MCCs being manufactured in-house to custom modifications for control systems in operation. You will utilize Microsoft Excel to organize programming functions. You will coordinate with customers on startups and may travel to customer sites. You will work independently and with a team of programmers to test programs prior to deployment to the field. You will be expected to work mostly on-site with some hybrid flexibility as you learn the job and our products. The Skills You Need To succeed in this role, you must have experience programming PLCs and other programmable devices. Proficiency in ladder logic and experience with CompactLogix, MicroLogix, and other industrial control programming applications are required. A 2-year degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or an equivalent degree and 3-5 years of experience are required. Answering Your Questions What are the hours? The starting salary for this position is $75,000 - 85,000/year for Associate level or $88,000 - 100,000/year for Engineer level depending on experience. What benefits do you offer?
