Job Title: Mechanical Inspector

Job Description

Perform inspections on mechanical parts such as cylinders, pistons, and hydraulics. Conduct first article inspections and generate non-conformance reports. Ensure products align with purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on various mechanical components including cylinders, pistons, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform first article inspections to verify initial production samples meet all specifications.
• Generate and maintain non-conformance reports to track product discrepancies.
• Compare finished products to purchase orders to ensure all specifications are met.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques.
• Experience with calipers and micrometers for quality inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using height gauges.
• Familiarity with in-process inspection procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $35.00/hr.
