Asbell Companies is seeking a skilled and dependable Lowboy / Heavy Haul Driver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in safely transporting heavy construction equipment and materials to and from job sites across the region. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience operating low-boy trucks or handling heavy haul loads, along with a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:
Safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment, machinery, and materials.
Operate lowboy and heavy haul trucks in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
Inspect and maintain assigned equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Coordinate with supervisor to meet scheduling and delivery needs.
Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and load documentation.
Comply with all state and federal transportation regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
Represent Asbell Companies in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Minimum 3 years of experience in lowboy or heavy haul driving preferred.
Experience hauling oversized and overweight loads a plus.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement practices.
Ability to operate and maneuver heavy trucks and trailers in tight job sites.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and secure heavy equipment components.
Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
Tolerance for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
