Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  Vacuuming all carpeted areas and sweeping and mopping floors, vending areas, public stairwells, and office spaces.

  \n

• \n

  Maintaining and detailing all public spaces, walkways, offices, dining outlets, bathrooms, and lockers, including employee areas.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Extracting and shampooing public areas, guest rooms, and office carpets.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Completing high and low dusting and polishing.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Collecting trash throughout guest public spaces and offices across the property.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Moving and rearranging furniture.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Loading and unloading delivery trucks.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Delivering clean/dirty linens to and from floor linen rooms.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Performing heavy or out-of-reach work for housekeepers in guest rooms.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Completing guest request calls.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Performing all other duties as assigned.

  \n
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• \n

  Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  \n
\n
• \n

  This position requires successful completion and passing of the post-offer employment physical exam.

  \n
\n

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

\n
• \n

  Experience operating a Scissor Lift, Extractor/Shampooer, High/Low Speed Buffer/Floor Striper, or qualified ability after completing training.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Ability to give directions for the property.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Demonstrate friendly customer service 

  \n
\n
• \n

  Ability to comply with department/Lodge grooming standards and policies.

\n

  Constantly (67-100% of time): Stand, Walk and Balance

  Frequently (34-66% of time): Lift (0-20lbs), Push (0-75 lbs), Pull(0-75 lbs), Carry (0-20lbs), Reach Forward, Reach Overhead, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Handle Objects, Grasp and Operate controls

• \n

  Occasionally (1-33%): Lift(21-50lbs), Carry (11-50lbs), Climb Stairs, Grasp firmly, and Crawl

  \n
\n
• \n

  Schedule involves working the second shift- 2:30 PM- 11:00PM. Weekends and holidays required. Shift start time may vary based on occupancy needs.

• \n

  Use of approved cleaning chemicals.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Proper footwear to be provided by employee.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Capable of pushing/pulling heavy linen carts.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.

  \n
\n
• \n

  This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
