Fully Cleared English Transcriber / Transcriptionist

Role Overview

As a Cleared Transcriptionist, you will create accurate, error-free transcripts of English audio recordings, adhering to strict client guidelines. You'll work collaboratively with government stakeholders and our project management team, ensuring timely and precise deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe English audio recordings with speed and accuracy.
• Follow client-provided style guides, glossaries, and templates.
• Collaborate with team members and provide regular progress updates.
• Maintain meticulous records of production metrics and timekeeping in compliance with federal requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Qualifications:

• Active Security Clearance: Top Secret, or TS/SCI (required).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in transcription, using tools like Start/Stop or GearPlayer 4, and foot pedals.
• Typing Proficiency: 5565+ WPM, with high accuracy.
• Language Skills: Native or near-native English proficiency with advanced grammar, spelling, and vocabulary skills.
• Attention to Detail: Impeccable accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Teamwork and Independence: Ability to collaborate effectively and work autonomously.
• Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a polished, client-ready demeanor.
• Location: Must work on-site in Washington, DC, and/or Falls Church, VA.

Preferred Start Date: Immediate availability is highly desired.
