Primary Purpose
The EMT Test Proctor is responsible to serve as an EMT Test Proctor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to proctor for EMT testing stations during National Registry, State of Oregon EMT practical exam.
Assist with opening and end of day procedures.
Assume responsibility for test security, data entry, transfer of data and results to the appropriate source.
Perform other essential functions as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.

The individual is expected to follow College work rules and policies.
Thorough knowledge in the field of Emergency Medicine.
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Patient Assessment Management-Trauma.
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Patient Assessment Management-Medical.
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Bag-Valve-Mask/Apneic Patient & Alternative Airway.
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Cardiac Arrest Management/ AED .
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Spinal Immobilization-Supine.
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Long bone .
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Joint Injury.
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Bleeding Control/Shock.
Ability to evaluate EMT candidates on skills of Seated Spinal Immobilization.
Ability to use software programs and database systems which include Microsoft Office Suite, email, website editing, basic desktop publishing, and modern office equipment.
Ergonomic Requirements
Regular office hours are established between 8 am – 5 pm during the workweek in a classroom setting. A flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends, may be necessary due to the nature of the responsibilities.
Extended standing with occasional lifting between 10-25 lbs. The employee is regularly required to sit, use tools or controls, requires near visual acuity to write, read written materials and computer screens, and sufficient hearing and speech ability for ordinary telephonic conversations. Computer screen is used more than 50 percent of the time. Must be able to climb or pull self upward and guide, feeding materials into proper position. All individuals are required to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
