Overview

Entry-Level Budtender - Join the JARS Cannabis Arcadia Team. Are you a friendly and enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and open availability looking for a full-time position? JARS Cannabis is inviting entry-level candidates to join our Arcadia location. If you have customer service experience from places like Starbucks, Target, or other retail and food service-oriented positions, we are willing to train you on cannabis and provide an exciting opportunity to grow in the industry.

PAY: $15-15.50/hour + shared tip pool

SCHEDULE: 5 days on, 8-hour shifts with 2 days off. Shifts include: Morning 6:30 AM-2:30 PM, Mid 11:00 AM-7:00 PM, Closing 2:30 PM-10:30 PM. Must have open availability to work a mix of all listed shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly assistance and recommendations on cannabis products to patients and customers.
• Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both new and returning clientele.
• Develop sales and customer service skills with on-the-job training.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization within the dispensary.
• Complete tasks assigned by management promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Positive, outgoing, and welcoming attitude.
• Open availability: able to work morning and evening shifts and holidays with no restraints on your schedule.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours each week.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
• Comfortable using a computer for the duration of the shift.
• Willingness to learn and self-educate about cannabis trends and products.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
• Ability to move and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Personal smartphone required. iPhone IOS 14 or later and Android OS 4.4 or later are required.
